Great Holiday Jewelry Picks: All under $20 and All from Forever 21

While the holidays are closer than ever and I pretty much have an idea what I'm wearing, accessories always seem to be the last thing I think about. This year, I'm pairing whatever I'm wearing around my jewelry, because I feel they can make any outfit I choose to wear look 10 times better. Since I still have to go shopping for presents, I don't want to splurge on myself right now.

I was checking out some styles on the Forever 21 site and came across these goodies that would be perfect for holiday and definitely wont break my pockets. Nothing here is over $20 and some styles are as low as $4.80! I love the vintage, art deco inspired design, they remind me of antique jewelry you find in estate sales...what are your fave pieces here?

Trending - Tiger Print

While I will always have room in my heart for leopard, I have to admit I'm warming up to the tiger prints I'm seeing lately. I actually like both the tiger stripe version, like this Proenza Schouler version here on Nicole Richie, and the actual tiger face and found some cute options at different price points to consider. I think its a fun take on the animal print trend, that isn't the expected leopard or zebra. You can either splurge on an item like this McQueen clutch for $525 (which I'm really loving) or if you're not sure and want to take baby steps this Forever 21 option is also cute and only $19.80. What are your thoughts on this trend?

Mixed Prints: Stripes & Leopard and How to Wear It Now!

Happy Hump Day all!! Week is almost over, been crazy busy as usual, but wanted to share my latest wants and trend inspirations with you! Lately, I've been really into mixing prints; mainly stripes with florals, dots with florals, stripes with leopard prints, etc. My fave combo is the stripes and leopard print, of course and this is my look inspired by this combo.

I’m loving the whole feel of this look right here. I could have done a full on striped shirt but I’m liking the minimalist feel to this top so went with that instead. It’s very easy to pair with black jeans, but to step it up a notch I’m liking the red skinnies as an option as well. What do you think of this look? Are you into mixing patterns, if so, what’s your fave combo?

My Latest Buys!

I went shopping this weekend, but didn’t get too much as I’ve been shopping a lot lately! Pictured above are some of my latest buys, from the last few weeks, that I really love! These are my favorite because most can be worn now and later, so I like the flexibility! After talking about this bag here, I finally bought the Michael Kors Hamilton tote. I ordered it from zappos.com and literally received it the next day (free overnight shipping :-)) and have been wearing it ever since. I also check out Mango all the time and purchased these leopard wedge boots from there last week. You all know by now, how much I love my leopard and while I am mostly conservative…these boots challenge me to push the style envelope. The chunky bead necklace from my recent trip to H&M stood out to me and I bought the black and white striped nautical top to go with it. I think It would actually work well with my black cropped pants from Urban Outfitters and the H&M flats. I also purchased a similar pair of wayfarer glasses from Urban Outfitters this weekend, but it wasn’t the Ray-Ban brand and only costs me about $14. What do you think of my buys? I still want a few more things but want to fall back on spending for the next few weeks. It is hard as ever though, since I work on 34th Street and I literally have to walk past these stores everyday. Pray for me guys..lol! Have a great Wednesday everyone!!

Bangles, Bracelets and other Trinkets

Trying to up my game in the accessories department! I recently lost all of mine, so now have to build up my collection again. I'm especially looking for more in the bracelets and ring categories. Now that I have to start over, I figured I'll go with more refined pieces that have interesting aspects to it. These are images of ideas on what I'm looking for. Some pieces are bold, some delicate and some edgy...which is just right for me...I have different aspects to my personal style that work with each!

Forever 21, actually has great accessories at really great pricing...TopShop and Asos have more higher end designs at a higher price point than Forever 21, but still not too expensive.
