Get This Look: Michelle Williams in Tibi Tuxedo Blazer and Cobalt Blue Jeans

Loving this look on Michelle Williams! Wearing a Tibi tuxedo jacket (that I found to retail anywhere from $263-$467!!!), I found a great look a like at Zara that is very similar in detail and only 89.90. I also found tons of striped tops with tropical appliques like her top from Stella McCartney, but none really fit the bill so I went with this striped with gold anchor detail instead from Alloy. The blazer will pull the look together and the gold anchor ties in with the hardware on the Mango satchel, which at $229 is still a bargain to her Louis Vuitton bag! I love how she paired these with Current/Elliot jeans in a pop color like cobalt instead of black pants or dark blue jeans. Here is my look for less!
Trend Inspirations: Tribal Prints Coats
Tribal prints are not just for summer...you can get in on the trend now by wearing cool Navajo prints like Kristin Cavallari, Hilary Duff and Katherine Heigl here in the colder months.

A really cool option and my inspiration behind this post would be this coat below from Esprit...spotted it a few times in the city. It is really cute, looks very warm and cozy, but it seems to be sold out now :-(!! So I'm on a search for a similar option. I'm using this search here for help and hope I'm lucky!!

My New Faves from Proenza Schouler
The Proenza Schouler PS1 is the ultimate in coolness personified in a bag and I love the fact that they now have a tote version! It’s still pricey as ever but I love ‘em anyway :-)! The body is elongated in this tote version and the color choices are right in step with the brights to come this summer. The shopping totes are also very nice…the python and floral style really stand out to me and would be great for any out and about excursions or on vacation! I would rock these everyday, all day!!
Summer Florals
Floral prints are continuing to move forward and I’m really loving the options for this summer! Check out my finds …these are great ways to incorporate floral prints into your wardrobe. All you need is one piece or you can even mix and match larger prints with subtle floral details!!
Winter Kate Items I Want Now!!
I love Nicole Richie's style! A far cry from her days on "The Simple Life' with Paris Hilton, her style has evolved into this glamorous, yet edgy bohemian chic-ness that I think is soo cool! That said, it's no surprise I'm in love with her Winter Kate collection as well, since it completely embodies her vibe! Here are a few pieces I would like to own now. I like the light and airy feel to the dresses and tops here as well as the soft color palette and that fringe vest is just too cool!

Designer Looks for Less!!
We all have an item we want, covet, envy... whatever you want to call it, that we can't get just yet becasue of the price. It could be because you're still in college, taking care of your family or have big plans that require saving so spending a couple of hundred or even thousands on one single item is out of the question. I'm saving up to buy a home next year and to go on a vacation this April so spending huge amounts of money on a whim right now is not an option. Thankfully, there are lots of options of faking it until you make it! I found some designer items that I like and was able to find very close look-a-likes, check out my finds!!
Bangles, Bracelets and other Trinkets
Happy Thursday all!!
Trying to up my game in the accessories department! I recently lost all of mine, so now have to build up my collection again. I'm especially looking for more in the bracelets and ring categories. Now that I have to start over, I figured I'll go with more refined pieces that have interesting aspects to it. These are images of ideas on what I'm looking for. Some pieces are bold, some delicate and some edgy...which is just right for me...I have different aspects to my personal style that work with each!
