Checking out swimwear this weekend and came across some really great deals at H&M! The style and the pricing is great! Most are priced separately, but I saw bikini bottom options for as low as $4.95 with matching tops as low as $9.95, including pieces in the new Beyoncé as Mrs. Carter in HM line . See below for my fave looks and here for more styles. Love the top print the most...but the other styles are very flattering for curvy shapes like mine. H&M is also carrying limited styles in the plus category…see them here! Have a great day :-)!
Happy Monday all!! I hope your weekend was pleasant :-)! I was busy this weekend on a few projects that I'm working on, as well as, starting the packing process for my birthday trip next week. I pretty much have everything needed, but do want to get a few more things, e.g. these mirrored sunglasses I keep seeing.
I first saw these a while back on bloggers like Aimee Song from Song of Style (see 2nd pic) and Andy Torres from Style Scrapbook (see 3rd pic). My faves are the red, blue and black versions but there are also other color options like orange, pink, green and yellow to choose from. I would definitley pick a color that works with your skin tone. Also, if you're not sure which color to get you can always opt for the classic black or even a look for less style in the colored versions. I never invest too much into trends, they come and go, and my investments are usually saved for classics. However, I personally love these options as an update to shapes and styles we've seen over and over, so will try this trend out! Below, I posted some style inspirations found on pinterest today!
Check them out and let me know what you think :-)!!

Pretty much everything I've purchased these past few months have been in the coral and turq family. With the exception of some items in yellow, red and cobalt...I'm literally overloaded with this color palette right now. I can't complain though, cause it's been working for me! Adding color where I normally would have went for a white, black or tan. Today for example, I'm wearing a lightweight coral tunic from Mango, with black skinnies, short khaki trench with black faux leather sleeves and leopard print loafers. I'm a minimalist when it comes to getting dressed, nothing too over the top for me...so I have to up the ante with colors and prints. Old me would have worn all black with the leopard print shoes and left it at that....lol! I'm loving the options above, you can always add color with denim, accessories and jewelry. I'm especially loving the Samantha Wills jewelry...she has an amazing collection and the Bohemian Bardot ring is my fave piece. Its comes in all these really cute sorbet colors, like the pink and yellow that you normally wouldn't find in jewelry.
Happy Monday all! It's getting down to the wire for me as far as getting ready for this trip and I need to get started!I went to Mango last week on my lunch break and found a lot of inspiration on what to wear in PR. Im not going to go overboard with the shopping, so a huge money saving tactic for me is to instead incorporate a few key trends with pieces I already have.

I'll start packing what I have and then fill in what I still need; I rather spend that extra money on things to do. The only things I really need for this trip is 2 more swimsuits and 2 dresses for when I go out. One outfit idea, I posted from Topshop the other day, is a definite dress option. As far as my wants, the easiest and most affordable way to add in is with accessories. I love these options from Mango, especially the jewelry and studded sandals! Now its just a matter of narrowing down my choices:-)....enjoy your day everyone!
Hope your weekend is going well everyone...I just spotted these really cute T- Strap heels on Sole Sociey's website and had to share! I love all the colors and trying to decide which one to get, so need your help here. I tried pairing the heels with some bags on the site to help make my decision easier but now want all! These are honestly great for the season but can easily move forward to the next....decisions, decisions! Which one's your fave? Comment below and let me know :-)!
I've been shopping around the past few weeks and noticed tons of bold black and white graphics from designers like Marc Jacobs to retailers like H&M. Image inspiration from above is from the Marc Jacobs Spring/summer 2013 collection, which was full of dramatic black and white graphics! I loved every bit of the show and am not surprised to see stripes everywhere for spring! (If you haven't seen the show..see link above to view the whole collection)
I found tons of styles that are reminiscent of the collection at great price points. Perfect for the upcoming spring season, you can pair any of the styles here with basic blacks and white or bold hues like reds, oranges and bluesl! What do you think of my picks??
The Narciso Rodriguez for Design Nation debuted a day early on kohls.com yesterday and not surprisingly some styles are already sold out! I love the separates in this collection which includes tops, blazers, tuxedo pants, dresses and outerwear. Expect to find quality designs and cuts in this limited edition, limited time collection. Today everything is 30% off...with sale costs ranging from $33-105/pc. The higher price points are for the outerwear items and most tops are in the $33-49 range. Check out the collection here before it all goes!! Enjoy your day!
You can usually update your wardrobe with a new tops, shoes or bags. This fall, I'm loving peplum tops as an updated option to wear with everything from denim to leather pencil skirts to wear day and night. Here are some of my fave picks from TopShop, Diane Von Furstenburg and Alexander McQueen at every price point!
I spotted this pic of Rihanna in Giorgio Armani denim overalls when I picked up a copy of the People Style Watch November issue this weekend. I really love this look and instantly wanted to find a look for less option. For me, easiest and most affordable option is going for denim on denim separates. You could already have these denim pieces in your closets, but if you don't denim button downs and boyfriend jeans are pretty much everywhere in every pricepoint,so not hard to find at all!
3 key factors to getting the overall/jumpsuit look:
1. Denim must match or at least be very close in wash.
2. The denim top should have a slim fit and hit at hip, so that it tucks into jeans easy and doesnt create a bulky look at the waist.
3. Denim jeans should have a boyfriend fit that sits somewhat low on the waist and cuffs easily.
I love the bordeaux color lipstick, so kept that in my look and instead of patent black pumps, like the Louboutin Pigalle's Rihanna is wearing, I added a black patent clutch. I upped the ante with these leopard pumps from Juicy Couture and included this dainty gold locket from shopbop.com.
Enjoy your Tuesday all!
Wear together or mix and match with items already in your closet!
On trend day to day picks to get you through the fall:
1. Colored jeans in oxblood (the IT color for all)
2. Military style jacket with leather sleeves
3. Metallic and fringe, both trends in one bag
4. Ankle booties - cute, adds a bit of height but still comfy
5. Black and white graphics..comes together great in this striped sweater
6. Watches paired with spiked bracelets- my fave arm candy combo that's not overkill
